Join us in sending Verrado High School’s Viper Vanguard marching band to perform on an international stage. Your support will help our students showcase their talents and represent our community with pride in Paris, France. This incredible opportunity will leave a lasting impact on their lives and musical careers!
The trip
Verrado High School’s Viper Marching Band will embark on an educational tour to Paris, France, in March 2025. Under the guidance of band director Tracy Meldrum, students will experience firsthand the rich cultural and historical landmarks they study in the classroom.
This unique opportunity aligns with the school’s commitment to integrating the arts into the educational experience and fostering community through music. As part of the program, students will earn college preparatory credit through online coursework completed after their travel, providing a distinctive advantage for their college applications.
The tour is organized by WorldStrides, the nation’s largest accredited student travel organization. To support this endeavor, each student is raising $4,000 through a fundraising campaign.
